[sold] An original contemporary 'retablo' of a skeleton by a Oaxaqueno artist. A five inch square of metal flashing is painted white, then green, and the skeleton image is revealed by scraping away the green. Swirling concentric circles form the background. Signed "bonola" in the lower left corner. An interesting contemporary application of the old colonial technique of painting on metal, and a unique skeleton image for Dia de los Muertos.
